Dr. Brandon Knapp completed his undergraduate training in his home state, at the University of Michigan where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. He continued his education at UofM in biomedical engineering by attaining a master’s degree before attending dental school. As a Master’s student, Dr. Knapp was instrumental in designing an orthopedic bolt for knee reconstruction.
Dr. Knapp then moved to New York City where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating with highest honors. After dental school Dr. Knapp continued his education by attending the 2.5 year orthodontic residency program through Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. As an orthodontic resident Dr. Knapp researched different retainer materials while earning his Master’s degree in Orthodontics. After living on the east & west coasts, Dr. Knapp and his wife and daughter found their way back home to the Midwest, and close to family. Notably, Dr. Knapp’s twin brother is also an Orthodontic Specialist… it is safe to say, “smiles” are inherited! Dr. Knapp is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Wisconsin Dental Association. Dr. Knapp is in the process of becoming a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.
